New fixed play facilities are to be installed next to the bowls pavilion in High Spen. This will be a great boost for the mother and toddler group that use the pavilion building. The park itself has also been lit in preparation for the new equipment.
Councillor Brenda Osborne and Lib Dem campaigner Andrew Graham have welcomed the new security lighting as it will deter youths from vandalising the equipment on dark evenings.
